Meet Author- Judy Kohl
Judy Kohl is an author on a mission: She wants to help bring awareness to young children about the importance of healthy eating in a way that is both fun and engaging.
Judy has always had a strong passion for education and working with small children. At the age of 26, she owned and taught at a Montessori-based preschool. Her granddaughter's "selective" eating led her to researching innovative ideas that introduce young children to a variety of foods in a positive and fun manner. She combined her love of animals, being a vegan, and her work as a preschool teacher to create a unique story cookbook that is designed for the young reader.
Her desire is to educate people about veganism with a soft touch. Judy's light, humorous approach keeps kids laughing while they are learning how to prepare meals and develop teamwork skills. The goal behind this book and upcoming books is to actively involve children.
The fun and creative stories behind every simple, healthy vegan recipe teach children about trying new foods, staying healthy, and the importance of exercising.
Judy resides in Basalt, Colorado, with her husband and their three adopted dogs. She enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, long walks, but most of all she loves being a Grandma.

By Timothy Hampton
Poverty is a global issue. The vast majority of the world’s wealth is in the hands of the elite. Poverty is spreading. It cuts across all cultures, regions, and worldviews. Poverty impedes progress. Humanity could grow stronger if the concept and condition of poverty were appropriately addressed. And all people were allowed to participate equally.
But first comes personal responsibility. Poverty Bear is a book about personal responsibility. Its goal is to teach the reader, in very simple terms, how poverty can and should be avoided.Poverty Bear’s journey also helps the reader to recognize how an individual might become susceptible to poverty.
It’s hard to imagine a world without poverty. It’s even harder to imagine that anyone would actually want to be poor. Poverty Bear was not written as the solution to world poverty. It was written to expand the dialog. Understanding and eliminating poverty are tasks for all humanity. Which means, poverty’s most innocent victims should be included in this discussion.

"From Riches to Rags"
By Jaclyn Howell
Most people anticipate a success story that describes a character's (real life or fictional) triumph from rags to riches. What if we turn the tables and read about an already "lucky" character who was practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth, looks down upon others who have less than her or who don't meet her standards, feels entitled to get what she desires from others, and gets away with countless bullying antics at school since her father knows what strings to pull to get her out of trouble?
Meet Serendipity (a.k.a. Serene), who needs to be humbled in her world of entitlement to fill the endless void she is trying to fill. How will she turn from her vacant and selfish ways if she doesn't have God in her life? Does she need to lose everything and go from riches to rags to find her purpose in the life that God intended for her?
